Founded in 1958 by Jack Wilson, Auratone has been family owned for over 50 years.  Jack started the company out of his garage in Chula Visa, California building a speaker that became one the most reputable studio monitor brands worldwide.  

The legendary 5C Super Sound Cubes, which are found in studios across the globe, are still an industry standard today, giving engineers a unique tool to judge a mix and performance.

Today, the company has moved its offices from Coronado, California to Nashville, Tennessee, and continues to be family owned. 

Auratone products are hand crafted in our Nashville shop to insure they are of the up most quality. 

The legendary 5C today comes in both the original passive as well as in a powered version.
